Returns/Cancellations

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request within 10 business days of the receipt of the product. If the item is returned unopened in the original box, we will exchange it, offer you store credit, or offer you a refund, less 35% restocking fee, less the shipping fees, based on your original method of payment. The product must be returned within 10 business days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the product. A 15% open box fee in addition to the 35% restocking fee (totaling 50%) will be assessed on any sealed product that is opened or removed from its original packaging.

Please note that we do not permit the return of the following products:
1. Special orders and products that are custom configured to your specifications.
2. Products sold "as is" or "used" or that have been installed or used after receipt.
3. Firearms, once transferred to buyer.
5. Any type of armbraces.
6. Illumination devices, electronic sights, optics and night vision equipment.
7. Any type of air guns (Rifle, Pistol etc.) 
   
NOTE: We recommend that you use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns, and either insure your package for safe return or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you chose not to use a carrier that offers tracking and insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping.

The United States Postal Service (USPS) offers limited tracking capabilities and that there is a 30-calendar-day waiting period before USPS will initiate a trace. The customer is responsible for shipping charges both ways on returns, as well as for shipping charges on shipments that are refused.

You MUST know your state laws before you complete your purchase as a buyer. If you buy a firearm then find out that you legally cannot own the firearm in your state, you will be subject to 35% restocking fee, all shipping fees back and forth.
By your purchase you acknowledge that you accept all the responsibility related with your state law requirements.

Used Firearms

The seller provides all descriptions for used items. All descriptions for used items are honest and based on actual items being offered for sale. Items being sold in this manner will be marked as such. All sales on used items are final. Photos will be provided when available. All machine guns are considered used unless otherwise noted.

General Firearm Sales

All firearms, magazines, receivers and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in accordance with all existing federal, state and local laws and regulations. Many of the firearms, magazines and parts for sale on this website may be restricted or prohibited in your area. Please check your local and state regulations before ordering. You must be 18 or older to purchase a long gun and 21 or older to purchase a handgun per ATF rules, but state and local laws may differ and you will need to check your local laws before purchasing a firearm.
Due new federal law the 18 years old persons background check may take up to 30 days and we have no control over this process.

All new firearms are shipped in the original manufacturer's box, with magazine(s), accessories and applicable warranty. Firearms requiring warranty work must be returned to the factory within 1 year of purchase for repair. Accessories and special order items not normally sold by our store will not be covered under warranty even if these products are part of an integrated firearms package, unless we have guaranteed the entire package in writing. Please contact the original manufacturer for warranty information on all accessories and special order items.

Consumer Data Privacy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it.

The Credit Card Billing Information, Shipping Information, and Contact Information in our checkout process are required in order to process your order and deliver the product to you. We store some information for accounting reasons. Your information will not be shown to third parties not involved in the transaction, nor used to send you any unrequested information. The entire Checkout process is handled through a secure SSL-encrypted connection.

The Credit Card Billing Information is sent directly to our payment provider who processes your credit card transaction. The credit card information is neither recorded nor stored by us, and it can only be accessed by our payment provider. Each transaction has a very high level of security. Your credit card details are sent directly to the payment provider over a secure SSL-encrypted connection. They are not processed on our servers at any stage of the transaction, nor are they stored on our server.

Secure Transmission

All information collected during the checkout process is transmitted via industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) featuring 128-bit encryption. A Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Certificate creates an encrypted link between a website and a visitor's Web browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the website and the browser remains private and secure.

Order Fulfillment

All orders are shipped promptly from our warehouse or in-store inventory within 3 - 10 business days using UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Tracking numbers are available for items shipped via UPS and FedEx.

Online Price & Description Errors

Our online inventory changes every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the item's description may contain a typographical error. We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions, pictures or prices on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price. In the event that we cancel an order we will not charge the customer's credit card or we will refund the money.

Always use your common sense. "If it sounds too good to be true, probably it ain't!"

If an item's description contains an error such as incorrect photo, price, accessory or description and a customer makes the order, we will not process the order without first contacting the customer. If the order is mistakenly shipped, we may advise the customer to return the item in an unopened condition and we will refund the customer. By placing an order, the customer agrees that $dealerName will be the final arbiter of discrepancies in the online catalog.

Ammunition Purchases

You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. All ammunition will be shipped ground with adult signature required. Always make sure to use the correct ammunition for your specific firearms. Check your local laws for any other regulations. *All ammunition sales will comply with local and state laws and will not be shipped to any restricted areas.*

Firearms Transfer Procedure

Currently we do NOT accept any transfers.
The fee for firearm transfer is $100 + $10 for TBI's background check total of $110.00.

You must be 18 or older to purchase long guns and 21 or older to purchase handguns. Check your local and state laws.
Federal firearm laws prevent Nashville Gun Shop from shipping firearms directly to individuals without a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL), however we can ship them to a FFL dealer.
In order to purchase your firearm and have us ship it, you must complete the steps listed below before we can process your order and ensure a trouble free transaction.
1. Complete your firearm purchase online. You will then receive an order confirmation e-mail with your order number.
2. Locate a FFL dealer near you that will accept the transfer of the firearm for you. This can be a local Gun Shop, Pawn Shop, Gun Range or any other location that holds a current FFL and will help you with the transaction.
3. Contact your FFL dealer and tell them you would like to transfer a firearm from Nashville Gun Shop. This transaction and associated transfer fees, if any, are between you and the dealer.
   • We do not contact the dealer to arrange a transfer.
   • Dealers charge a fee for a firearm transfer.
   • You must confirm the transfer with your local dealer in advance.
   • Making arrangements with a FFL dealer prior to placing your order will expedite the process.
4. Download, print and fill out our (include your order # on the form.) Then give it to your FFL dealer to mail or fax with their license.
   • Keep all paperwork together in one envelope if possible.(mailing)
   • Write your name and order number on any correspondence you send us.

7. Once we have received a copy of your dealer’s signed FFL and completed Nashville Gun Shop FFL Transfer Form we will ship the firearm to the FFL dealer.
   
• Long guns may ship ground instead of air freight.

8. We will send you an email with the tracking number when the firearm ships.
   
• We do not ship outside the United States.
   
• Firearms will not be shipped to any restricted locations.

9. Once your FFL dealer receives your firearm, they will perform your background check. You will then need to complete all the necessary paperwork and pick up your gun.
Write your name and order number on all correspondence with us.
10. If your 4473 (Firearms Transaction Record Part I - Over-the-Counter) is denied by TBI an appeal form should be filed. The only way we will complete the firearm transfer is if we receive an “Approved” message from TBI. If denied, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to have the firearm returned. Shipping fees will be responsibility of the purchaser. Any firearm left in our possession longer than 30 days from receipt will become store inventory and will be sold.
NFA Firearm transfer fee is $350.
If NFA firearm has not picked up in normal NFA approval timeline, $75 per month firearm storage fee will be added to total.
Currently and temporarily we stop receiving transfers as of beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

4% CREDIT CARD FEE

All firearms purchases subject to 4% credit card fee. The credit card fee will be added to your total manually by managment when you are picking up your gun.

Online Firearm purchases, Refunds and Denials

If you purchased your product online and fail the background check or we denied to sell you a firearm because of straw purchase attempt or you changed your mind(buyers remorse) and now you want a refund... following will apply:

A scenario:
You purchased a $200 firearm/product:
$200 Firearm/product
$25.01 Shipping fee
$225.01 Sub-Total
$20.82 TN Sales Tax
$245.83 Total
You will end up paying online $245.83 including the tax and shipping fee.
Our online system will let you know that you will pay additional $10 background fee and 4% credit card fee when you come to pick up your firearm.

-You will not get back your shipping $25.01 fee back.
-We will deduct 35% restocking fee from the firearm purchase in this scenario it is $70.00.
-We will also deduct $100.00 failed background fee.
-Your refund will be $50.82

Refunds ONLY to be issued to original payment method.
No exceptions.

In the case of if we have to seek any legal consul in relation to your unique case we reserve our rights to reflect those charges to your deduction.
